White Lake Township Fire Department Commitment to Training

The unexpected dangers and challenges in managing true emergencies in today’s complex and highly technical society deserves serious respect by all members of the department and the Township administration.

As Chief of the White Lake Township Fire Department, I recognize that the public expects a proficient level of service from their local firefighters. The public should feel secure and expect their local department to be prepared and ready to resolve almost any emergency situation worthy of a 911 call.

It is further recognized that a well-trained fire department does not happen by accident. A quality training program is the foundation, power, and thrust behind any successful modern-day fire department. Under my watch, a high priority must and will persist for the funding and time dedicated to achieving a highly trained and qualified workforce.  More importantly, a positive training attitude with the goal of cultivating the finest quality service delivery system, fortified with continual improvement, will be nurtured in all department personnel.

This commitment to a premier training program to achieve the utmost in a fire service delivery system is hereby pledged by:
