  • The ban on open burning has been lifted as of 07/15/16.

Open burning shall be conducted in accordance with the regulations listed on the burning permit. Avoid windy days, and when conditions are extremely dry (your fire is your responsibility). If a complaint is received, the Fire Department may inspect the fire and request that you present your burn permit. Open burning within White Lake Township is a regulated privilege for which noncompliance runs the risk of a municipal civil infraction or misdemeanor conviction.
